SKATEPARK WORKERS – CASUAL
We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic people with experience of skateparks / extreme sports to cover shifts at the park at peak times.
You will have some experience of working with young people
You will be good at encouraging and motivating people to stretch themselves and able to coach the key sports at the park
You will need an understanding of health & safety issues and be willing to administer first aid when trained
You will be expected to work flexibly including handling cash, participating in decorating and maintenance tasks and helping keep the park clean and tidy
We particularly need people who can be available during school holidays, at weekends and on bank holidays
The rate of pay is £7.23 per hour (including holiday uplift)
Closing date for applications is Friday 13th May

John Thurston is an absolute legend at Southsea Skatepark and ran the park through the golden skate era back in the 80s so it was only fitting that he came down at the re-opening weekend event and officially reopened the park for all.
